  The Eco Index is designed to assess the environmental impacts of products, specifically apparel, footwear, and gear (“hardgoods” or “hardlines”) within each stage of the product life cycle.  Climate Counts and ULE 880 are two examples of tools to assess environmental impacts at a broader company level.
